The Yucca Valley Town Council has a relatively short agenda for this Tuesday after Labor Day. Managing editor Tami Roleff fills us in with what’s on the agenda…
The Yucca Valley Town Council meeting will start with three presentations: from Southern California Edison, a recognition of outgoing Planning Commissioner John Terfehr, and a proclamation recognizing Constitution Week. After approving the consent agenda, which includes the denial of a claim made by Alfredo Flores against the town, the council will hear a report about the 2020 census. Next is a calendar for the town’s strategic plan activities, and finally, an update on the progress for the town’s pool and recreation center. The council will then go into closed session for a performance evaluation of Town Manager Curtis Yakimow. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
