A Yucca Valley woman accused of shoplifting was arrested Wednesday on a $100,000 warrant for drug charges. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman, later identified as Rachel Margolies, 35, was in the check-out line at Dollar General in Yucca Valley shortly before 9 p.m. when the clerk said she ran out the door with about $100 worth of make-up, but left her identification behind. After an investigation, Rachel Margolies was arrested near Fox Trail and Yucca Trail about a half hour later, on suspicion of petty theft. Margolies was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail on a $100,000 warrant for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
