A car-to-car shooting in Twentynine Palms sent one man to the hospital Sunday afternoon. Shortly before 3 p.m., a man, identified only as a black male, 39, of Twentynine Palms, was arguing with another man at a store, and then left and drove to another location near El Paseo and Adobe Road. A vehicle drove by as the man was parked near Little School of the Desert and fired shots at the driver, hitting him. A passenger in the vehicle drove the injured man to the fire station on Adobe Road. Paramedics transported the victim to Knott’s Sky Park, where he was airlifted to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs with moderate to major injuries.
