We have limited information on a shooting that took place in Twentynine Palms early Sunday (January 9) morning. According to a press release, Sheriff Deputies responded to the 70000 block of El Paseo Drive around 3 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Arriving deputies contacted a male victim who had been shot. While investigating the incident, Deputies reportedly determined a large house party was taking place, and an argument broke out. The press release states that several attendees fired rounds, striking the male victim in the home. The injured male was taken to Desert Regional Hospital for medical treatment and is in critical condition.
