The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will give the public the opportunity to prevent prescription pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of dangerous expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs. Please don’t flush or throw away old prescriptions; these actions pose safety and health hazards. Bring your pills for disposal on Saturday, September 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sheriff’s station in Joshua Tree. This service is free and anonymous.
