SHERIFF’S INVESTIGATORS SEEK THE PUBLIC’S HELP IN RECENT ARRESTS

The Sheriff’s Department is looking for information related to the arrest of three persons on suspicion of transportation of a controlled substance. Enrico Baylon, age 30, Joseph Arellano, age 25, and Olivia Reilly-Steinberg, age 22, all residents of Boise, Idaho, were arrested after a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 62 and Church Street in Yucca Valley at about 11 p.m. December 21. A Sheriff’s Deputy observed the sedan they were in fail to stop at a red light, drive up onto the sidewalk, and come to a stop, before the three occupants attempted to flee. On investigation, deputies located a quarter pound of methamphetamine and a half pound of heroin inside the vehicle. The driver was determined to be under the influence, unable to drive safely. Enrico Baylon, Joseph Arellano, and Olivia Reilly-Steinberg were arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail on suspicion of transportation of a controlled substance.
