Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a liquor store in Twentynine Palms Sunday night. According to a Sheriff’s report, the employee said at least three suspects entered the store in the 72100 block of 29 Palms Highway at Morongo Rd. about 10:15 p.m. The clerk said one suspect took him into the bathroom and held a gun to the back of his head while the other suspects stole money and cigarettes. The clerk was unable to give a description of the robbers because he was told not to look at the suspects. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
