Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a case in which an argument turned into a shooting match. According to a Sheriff’s report, about eight men were arguing near the 3500 block of Blower Road in Wonder Valley about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The argument became physical, and a group of Hispanic men threw bottles at a group of African-American men. One of the African American men took a gun from the back of a car and fired four shots at the Hispanic men. Both groups of men then got into their cars and fled the scene, and no one was there when deputies arrived. A witness said that one of the Hispanic men was hit in the foot, but deputies have been unable to locate a victim either at the scene or at area hospitals.
