SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT SEEKS WHEREABOUTS OF YUCCA VALLEY MAN WANTED FOR ARMED ROBBERY

The Sheriff’s Department has identified one of the men suspected of robbing the Stater Brothers in Yucca Valley last week. The Sheriff’s Department says Christian Trujillo, 29, of Yucca Valley, went to the “new” Stater Brothers grocery store on the east end of Yucca Valley on New Year’s Eve about 7:30 with another Hispanic man, and walked out of the store with beer without paying for it. When a clerk confronted Trujillo, Sheriff officials say he swung a knife at her before running off. Trujillo has several tattoos, including writing on his neck, three dots on his right hand, and “TC” on his left hand. Trujillo has a $400,000 felony warrant for armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Christian Trujillo should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
