The Sheriff’s Department is seeking help from the public in locating two recently-identified suspects wanted in connection with mail package thefts in Twentynine Palms. On October 13 at around 2:30 a.m., two suspects were recorded stealing a mail package from a Twentynine Palms residence. The reported theft was recorded by the victim’s “Ring” home-surveillance system. Sheriff’s Deputies reviewed the footage and were able to identify the suspects as Charles Williams III and Anthony McSweeney. Both Williams and McSweeney have active warrants for their arrest connected to other criminal investigations in the Twentynine Palms area.
