SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATING SHOTS FIRED IN YUCCA VALLEY THURSDAY

The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a case of shots fired in Yucca Valley Thursday afternoon. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 7500 block of Palm Avenue about 2:20 p.m. for shots fired. The resident told deputies that her boyfriend became upset when she told him to leave following an argument and he went to his vehicle and got a handgun. She said he then fired it about 14 times into the ground and wall. The man was gone was deputies arrived.
