SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATING MULTIPLE VEHICLE BURGLARIES IN TWENTYNINE PALMS

At least three vehicles were burglarized in Twentynine Palms Wednesday night. According to Sheriff’s reports, residents in the 7000 block of 49 Palms Avenue, 6900 and 7000 block of Juniper Avenue reported their vehicles had been broken into overnight. Items reported stolen include debit and credit cards, duffle bag, music CDs, and picture frame. A neighbor in the 6500 block of 49 Palms Avenue reported a vehicle burglary in progress just before 9 a.m. Thursday, but deputies determined that the men were retrieving items out of the Jeep at the request of the owner. However, one man, Kevin Glover, 22, was out of compliance with the terms of his probation and was arrested on probation violations, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, and is being held without bail.
