Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a man’s body was found alongside Highway 62 in Morongo Valley Friday morning. A friend of the victim was driving on the highway and spotted the victim’s car parked on the shoulder near T-Circle Drive, and called the man’s boss to report it. The boss came to the scene and discovered the body at about 10:30 a.m. Friday. The body was located about 10 feet off the shoulder in the desert, and the California Highway Patrol had tagged the car on November 27. The Sheriff’s Department is awaiting the coroner to determine the cause of death.
