The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a crash into a light pole in Yucca Valley March 31. About 1:20 p.m. April 1, deputies were called to the 56900 block of Highway 62. The caller said an unknown man driving a truck crashed into a light pole the day before, causing minor damage. The caller said the driver then tied a chain to the pole and pulled it with the truck. Instead of pulling the pole upright, the pole fell over and the footing broke. The caller provided photos and a description of the vehicle.
