Summer break is nearing its end, which means it’s almost time for students to return to school. Members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department are looking to fill both a patrol car and a district school bus with much-needed school supplies for returning students. Needed supplies include pencils, pens, erasers, notebooks, paper, backpacks, crayons, and much more. The back-to-school supply drive will be held at the Yucca Valley Walmart on Tuesday, August 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information on the drive, contact Deputy Campos at 760-366-4175.
