SHERIFF’S ASKING FOR HELP IN FINDING MISSING APPLE VALLEY WOMAN

The Sheriff is asking for help in finding an Apple Valley woman who has been missing since Halloween night; personal items and her truck were found here in the Morongo Basin. Investigators say Christina Bastian, 34, attended church with her family on October 31 and then went to a friend’s house, where she was last seen leaving at 1:45 a.m. November 1 with her small dog.

California Highway Patrol officials found personal property of Bastian near Highway 247 and Bodick Road in Johnson Valley, and Sheriff’s deputies located her pickup truck near Valley View Road and Twentynine Palms Highway in Morongo Valley. Bastian is described as a white adult woman weighing 170 pounds with red hair and brown eyes.
