Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of an unidentified man in Yucca Valley. About 8:20 a.m. Tuesday morning, first responders were called to the 3800 block of Balsa Avenue for a man who was found not breathing and lying near a creosote bush on the east side of the road. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. Deputies obtained a search warrant for a home on the same block, but did not locate a crime scene, and there were no signs of foul play. Deputies are awaiting the coroner’s report for a cause of death. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
