The Sheriff’s Department is investigating an attempted burglary of golf carts from the Hawk’s Landing golf course in Yucca Valley Saturday night. Surveillance video shows two subjects entered the golf course just before midnight Saturday night, took a golf cart and drove it around, causing about $1500 in damage to the green. The suspects then tried to take another golf cart but they couldn’t open the lock. They then fled, taking the keys to the golf carts with them.
