Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a case of shots fired in Yucca Valley Tuesday evening. About 9 p.m., a resident near Indio Avenue and Douglas Lane heard multiple shots fired. When the resident went outside, a brown, older model pick-up truck was seen driving at a high rate of speed north on Indio Avenue. A deputy found 15 9-mm fired cartridge cases at the intersection. The deputy made an area check but was unable to locate the vehicle. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
