The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Morongo Basin Station will be accepting applications for tow services for the City of Twentynine Palms, the Town of Yucca Valley, and the county areas of the Morongo Basin, beginning today (March 1). All completed applications must be received or postmarked prior to midnight, March 31, 2022, at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Morongo Basin Station.
Tow service providers are only allowed to provide services for one station or district unless special permission is received prior to submitting the applications. All current tow service providers for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department must re-apply during this time. All received applications will remain on record until March 2023, when all applicants and tow service providers must re-apply.
Interested applicants may receive a copy of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Tow Service Agreement and Application for Tow Service Agreement at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Morongo Station or via the internet at:

Physical inspections of applying Tow Service Applicants will be conducted by the California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department during the month of April 2022. Applicants must cooperate and pass the inspection process to be considered a valid applicant.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department will conduct a Tow Service Agreement meeting with all applicants who are being considered, during the month of May 2022. The location and exact date will be announced at a later time. Covid-19 protocols will be in effect.
