Sources familiar with Yucca Valley High School have told Z107.7 News that Yucca Valley High School Vice Principal Tracy Allen was removed from the high school and escorted off campus May 4 for unknown reasons. Former Morongo Unified School District assistant superintendent for human resources Doug Weller will act as the interim vice principal until the end of the year. In a phone interview with Z107.7, Morongo Unified School District Superintendent Tom Baumgarten confirmed that an assistant principal from Yucca Valley High School has been placed on administrative leave and that a retired administrator is filling the position as an interim assistant principal at this time. Baumgarten said due to the possibility of pending litigation, he could not provide any names or additional information on personnel matters.
