The Sheriff’s Department Marijuana Enforcement Team has been busy lately in the Morongo Basin. On Wednesday, deputies served seven search warrants in the Desert Heights area of Twentynine Palms. Deputies seized 3,516 marijuana plants at illegal grow facilities in the 1400 block of Jackrabbit Trail; two grows in the 67600 block of Winters Road; 66700 block of Mars Road, and 67100, 66600, and 66900 blocks of Daisy Road. No suspects were contacted at any of the sites.
