SERVICES TOMORROW FOR EDWARD HORVATH

EDWARD HORVATH

Edward Horvath, a 47-year-resident of Twentynine Palms, died February 12 of respiratory failure. He was 69 years old. Ed Horvath is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Jerry Phipps, and Cindy and Jim Minarik, all of Twentynine Palms. Ed Horvath was a former construction worker and mechanic who was working as a part-time maintenance worker at Blessed Sacrament Church in Twentynine Palms, where he was also a parishioner. He was proud of his 26-plus years of sobriety. A viewing will be held Friday, March 1, at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Twentynine Palms, followed by a rosary at 9:30 and a mass at 10 a.m. A bereavement gathering will follow internment at Twentynine Palms Cemetery.
