Roger Johnson, a long-time educator and former counselor at Twentynine Palms High School, passed away on June 3, at Desert Regional Medical Center, with his family by his side. Roger Johnson was a tremendous advocate for students and a great supporter of Twentynine Palms High School. Services will be held for Roger Johnson at Evangelical Free Church in Yucca Valley this Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would like to setup a scholarship fund for a student pursuing a teaching career.
