Mary Colleen “Cookie” Hacker, a 40-year resident of Yucca Valley, died September 11. She was 66 years old. Cookie Hacker is survived by her husband Timothy Hacker; daughters Tara Hacker of San Francisco and Dana Hacker of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers Edward O’Brien of Redlands, Patrick O’Brien of Prescott, Arizona; and Bill Pinder of Joshua Tree; sisters Tamura Stoker of Yucca Valley, and Mary Ekema of Desert Hot Springs; and two grandchildren. Cookie Hacker was employed at Hacker Engineering, Hacker Wall Systems, and Tamura at Home. A service is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Yucca Valley with David Reyes officiating.
