SERVICES SET FOR BRONSON O’DELL “POP” WRIGHT

Bronson O’Dell “Pop” Wright, a resident of Joshua Tree and Pioneertown since the 1970s, died September 19. He was 81 years old. “Pop” Wright is survived by his wife, Vicki Wright, of Pioneertown; his daughters, Linda Theriault of Joshua Tree, Leila Huber of Twentynine Palms, Tanya Wilson and Michele Wilson, of Yucca Valley; his sons Mike Wright of Yucca Valley; Mitch Wright and Mark Wright of Joshua Tree, and Matt Wright of Pennsylvania; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. “Pop” Wright retired as a superintendent with the Joshua Basin Water District. A service will be held at the Joshua Tree Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 28, with Pastor Bruce and Pastor Bill of Pioneertown Church officiating. A graveside service will be held immediately following the service. Bronson “Pop” O’Dell Wright was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was an artist, jewelry maker, wood-working hobbyist, race car enthusiast and former driver of race cars and motorcycles.
