A 23-year-old man was seriously injured when he crashed his motorcycle in Joshua Tree National Park Sunday. The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. on Pinto Basin Road near the Pinto Wye intersection. Park rangers suspect speed may have contributed to a loss of control and the man crashed. Morongo Basin Ambulance transported the man to a helicopter landing zone where he was flown to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.
