Learn some defense techniques at a self-defense class in Yucca Valley. On February, 8, from 9 a.m. to noon, a class for ages 14 and older will be held at the Yucca Valley Community Center. The cost is $20 per person and no previous experience is required. This three hour, hands-on lesson includes demonstrations, instruction and lecture. Students will pair up to practice, so comfortable clothing is recommended and no jewelry is allowed. Instructor Norman Rose, black belt in Ketsugo Jujitsu, has 20 years of experience and will teach a variety of self-defense techniques. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged.
