A two-and-a-half hour self-defense workshop is being offered on Saturday, February 21, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. by the Town of Yucca Valley Recreation Department. It includes demonstrations, hands-on instruction and a lecture. Instructor Norman Rose is a black belt in Ketsugo Jujitsu and has 20 years of experience. If you are 14 or older you may enroll. Students with valid student ID can take the class for free. The cost is $15 per person for all others. The class will be at the Yucca Valley Community Center and space is limited.
