Morongo Basin residents and visitors are invited to the Yucca Valley Airport tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to see some classic aircrafts. Attendees can see the planes up close, talk to pilots and mechanics, and learn a little bit about an important part of the community. This is a kid friendly event, allowing you to sit with your kids in an airplane and watch the wonder in their eyes. Information will also be available for free discovery Eagle Flights.
Parking at the old Wine & Roses and admission is free. Unfortunately, there are not going to be restrooms available on site, but Circle K is just a short hop across Old Woman Springs Road.
This monthly event, held on the last Sunday of each month and is a community outreach by a group of private pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
