And then at 7:20 p.m., firefighters responded to a second vegetation fire, near Warren Vista and Aberdeen in the Yucca Mesa neighborhood of Yucca Valley. Yucca Mesa, Yucca Valley, and Joshua Tree firefighters were able to contain the blaze to about one-quarter acre. Firefighters were unable to determine the cause of the fire.
