SCHOOL DISTRICT TO PROVIDE FREE MEALS TO ALL STUDENTS

In May of this year, the Morongo Unified School district approved a one-year pilot program of the Community Eligibility Provision, a program that
provides free meals to students. According to a recent press release, the programs will go into effect at all 16 MUSD schools for the 2018-2019
school year. Through these programs, all students will receive breakfast and lunch meals at no charge. There is no application to fill out and there is no fee for the program. For additional information, contact MUSD Nutritional Services Director Janet Barth at 760-367-9191, extension 4271.
