The Morongo Unified School District will hold special speech screenings for children ages 3-5 who are having difficulties communicating, such as using two-word sentences or who speak in a way that people outside the family cannot understand them. Two speech screening sessions will be held on Monday, August 19, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1-3 p.m. in the Early Childhood Classroom at Joshua Tree Elementary School, 4950 Sunburst avenue in Joshua Tree.
