The Morongo Unified School District’s nutritional services team was recently recognized for distributing more than 2 million free meals to the Morongo Basin community as part of the district’s Grab-&-Go meal Program. Students up to age 18 in the Morongo Basin will continue to receive free meals through MUSD’s Grab-&-Go meal program. Food distributions will be held every Thursday from 9-10:30 a.m. at every MUSD school site, except Black Rock High School, and students will continue to receive a full week’s worth of meals at a time. The school district also has a Thursday evening pick-up time of 5-6 p.m. at Yucca Valley High School and Twentynine Palms Elementary School.
