SCHOOL DISTRICT APPROVES TEACHER AGREEMENT FOR UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR

The Morongo Unified School District Board of Trustees held a special meeting Friday afternoon where they unanimously approved the memorandum of Understanding between the school district and the Morongo Teachers Association regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic during the 2020-2021 school year. The document outlines safety and hygiene requirements, education models, and many others agreements for when school sites eventually reopen for the upcoming school year. In the meantime, the School District is continuing to finalize its distance learning and independent study programs before the first day of school. Trustee Kari Condley was absent for the meeting.
