The Morongo Unified School District board of Trustees have a lengthy agenda to tackle for their regular board meeting tonight (June 29). The board will first hold a work study session at 6 p.m. to swear in new board Trustee Roberta Meyers. The board will then move to closed session to conference with labor negotiators. In open session at 7 p.m., among many other topics, the board will discuss and adopt the district’s 2021-2022 preliminary budget and issued a Declaration of Need for fully qualified teachers in the district. The meeting will be held via YouTube live from the official MUSD YouTube page.
