In open session, beginning at 5 p.m., the MUSD Board of Trustees will swear in its newly-elected board members and reorganize the board by electing officers for the next term. The board will then hold a work study session to hear the first interim report, review district data, and Discuss an anticipated board member vacancy. The board will then go into closed session at 5:45 p.m. to conference with designated bargaining representatives.
In open session, beginning at 7 p.m., the board will hold a public hearing on the Statutory School Facilities report and recognize Twentynine Palms High School Football Coach Ernie Martinez. The meeting will be held at Joshua Tree Elementary School, 4950 Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree.
