The board will begin tonight’s meeting at 5:15 p.m. with a work study session to review the Plans for Student Achievement for Morongo Valley, Landers, Onaga, and Joshua Tree Elementary Schols and Black Rock High School. The board will then adjourn to closed session to conference with labor negotiations. In open session at 7 p.m., the board will discuss authorizing proposals for an executive search firm to assist the district in recruiting and hiring a new Superintendent and approve a Board Policy on the district’s Independent Study program. The meeting will take place at Joshua Tree Elementary School (4950 Sunburst Ave.) in Joshua Tree.
