The MUSD Board of Trustees will hold a work-study session beginning at 6 p.m. to discuss special education compliance tasks. The board will then adjourn to closed session to conference with legal counsel on anticipated litigation and to discuss employee disciplines and dismissals. In open session beginning at 7 p.m.; the board will recognize the accomplishments of 10 students in honor of National Disabilities Awareness Month, hold a public hearing on the sufficiency of district textbooks, and discuss declaring the week of October 23-31 as drug-free Red Ribbon week. The meeting will be held at Joshua Tree Elementary School, 4950 Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree.
