SCHOOL BOARD TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON EMPLOYEE CONTRACTS

Although the hundreds of Morongo Unified School District employees have been told the terms of their tentatively-agreed upon contracts, it’s not official yet. Reporter Dan Stork tells of one public step required by law, which will be part of the regular school board meeting tomorrow…

In accordance with the California law on public disclosure of collective bargaining agreements, the Morongo Unified School District will hold public hearings on employee contracts. The hearings will cover the tentative agreements reached with the Morongo Teachers Association and Chapter 29 of the California School Employees Association. Also being heard are the arrangements for management and confidential employees. The meeting starts at 5 p.m. on Tuesday June 16 at Joshua Tree Elementary School.
