The board will begin tonight’s meeting at 6:15 p.m. in closed session to conference with labor negotiators. In open session at 7 p.m., the board will recognize the retirement of dozens of district employees and dozens more who have served 20-30 years with the district. The board will then hear a presentation on, then discuss, stadium improvements at Twentynine Palms High School and review an application to rename the Yucca Valley High School lecture hall in honor of the late John W.
