The board will begin tonight’s meeting at 5:15 p.m. continuing presentations on student achievement plans for Condor and Friendly Hills Elementary Schools, La Contenta Middle School, and Twentynine Palms Junior High School. The board will then adjourn to closed session at 6:15 p.m. to hold a public employment discussion on the district’s Superintendent position. In open session at 7 p.m., the board will hear a presentation on Math and English proficiency among third through sixth graders and discuss increasing pay for certified substitute teachers. The meeting will be held in-person at Joshua Tree Elementary School (4950 Sunburst Ave.).
