SCHOOL BOARD TO DISCUSS BUDGETS, STATE FUNDING, AND CONTRACTS

The Morongo Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold its regular meeting tonight. Reporter Andrew Dieleman tells us what’s on the agenda…

At tonight’s meeting, the MUSD Board of Trustees will begin in closed session at 6 p.m. to conference with labor negotiators. The board will then hold a workshop at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the district’s proposed 2020-2021 budget. In open session beginning at 7 p.m., the board will accept more than $10 million in funding from the State Education Protection Account, approve a new produce contract for school lunches, and approve a contract with a new software company to manage student records. The meeting will be held via Facebook Live from the official MUSD Facebook Page.
