The Morongo Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold its first official meeting of the 2019-2020 academic year tonight. After the work study session, the MUSD Board of Trustees will adjourn to closed session at 6:15 p.m. to conference with legal counsel and labor negotiators. In open session, beginning at 7 p.m., the board will approve the acceptance of a $37,500 grant for the creation of an emergency management program, approve its membership agreement with the County District Advocates for Better Schools, confirm the District’s compliance with California legal and program requirements, and approve numerous course outlines and textbooks.
