The Morongo Unified School District board of trustees will hold a special meeting Friday, January 13. The board will review candidate information and discuss the candidates’ qualifications for the vacant seat on the board of education. The meeting is set for 8 a.m. at Friendly Hills Elementary School, 7252 Sunny Vista Avenue in Joshua Tree.
The applicants for the vacant school board position are: Dale Charette, Michael Chlebik, Casey Collver, Kerri Condley, Patrick Crow, Misty Evans, Ken King, Cindy McVay, Donna Munoz, and Carissa Walton.
