The MUSD Board of Education will meet tonight at 5 p.m. at Joshua Tree Elementary School. The meeting will begin with the election of new officers followed by a work study session on the first interim financial report. The board will then go into closed session to discuss student expulsions and readmissions, public employee discipline, and conference with bargaining representatives. In open session, beginning at 7 p.m., the board will watch a student performance by Mrs. Hernandez’ kindergarten class from Joshua Tree Elementary School. Lastly, the board will hear public comments on the possible transition to by-trustee area elections and the possible composition of trustee area maps that would result from the switch.
