Future dental technicians and food service workers will get a treat at tonight’s regular meeting of the Morongo Unified School District Board of Education; several thousand dollars’ worth of equipment to help in their training.
The equipment is being transferred from the County of San Bernardino to the district’s Regional Occupational Program in a move the board will be asked to approve.
In other actions, the board will review its textbooks for the coming year as well as consider the sale and disposal of various outdated equipment and supplies.
Tonight’s meeting gets underway 7 p.m. at Joshua Tree Elementary School on Sunburst Avenue.
