SCHOOL BOARD MEETS TONIGHT, TWO POLICIES UP FOR REVIEW

Following a 6 p.m. closed session meeting on student expulsions and re-admissions, public employee discipline, dismissal, release, the Morongo Unified School District board will meet in open session at 7 p.m. Following reports and comments from various representatives to the board, the board will hear a presentation on a grant from the Department of Defense. Next up is a routine consent agenda. On the action agenda, the board will be asked to ratify the 2015 graduates from Black Rock High, Twentynine Palms High, and Yucca Valley High schools. Two board policies are up for review: parental notifications and required parental attendance. The meeting will be held at Joshua Tree Elementary School on Sunburst Drive.
