The Morongo Unified School District board of Trustees will begin tonight’s meeting in closed session at 6:30 p.m. to conference with labor negotiators. In open session, beginning at 7 p.m., the board will adopt the district’s 2020-2021 preliminary budget, issue a “declaration of need” for fully qualified educators in the school district, approve the district’s 2020-2021 school attendance calendar, and accept a $32,000 grant for the district’s summer feeding program. The meeting will be held via YouTube live from the official MUSD YouTube page.
