Board members will receive an update on negotiations between the Morongo Unified School District and teachers’ union.
In other business, the school board will consider a resolution guaranteeing equal educational access to homeless children and prohibiting the segregation or stigmatization of students based on residential status. The board will also receive an update about new laws the prohibit special benefits for “highly compensated” employees.
The closed session begins 5:30 p.m. followed by the 7 p.m. open portion of the meeting at Joshua Tree Elementary School on Sunburst Avenue.
